Girls..as always our Champagne & Sparkling Conversation Events are perfect for new or potential members of AW to come along and meet other newbies, club members, myself & members of the AW Team.

It's a great icebreaker and you get to hear some very inspirational and informative stories from amazing 'adventurous' & gutsy women out there!

Speaking of which, our guest speaker for this event is Susan Saleeba, who will share her intimate knowledge of Volunteeer Travel and where the money goes ..or doesn't go in a lot of cases!  She will also talk about how you can go about gaining a qualification to teach english overseas.

Susan is a truly amazing woman who will share with you how she initiated The NAKURU, KENYA—FAMILY PROJECT in 2008 and why!  Below, in her own words, this is what she had to say about her first overseas volunteering experience.

"My first volunteering experience was an expensive exercise, I had the passion to volunteer but the cost was extraordinarily high by going through organizations where all monies saved did not go direct to the project where I was teaching. I was disappointed and amazed at how much of what is said goes to a project simply goes towards glossy brochures and administration costs.”
