It's no secret that a walk in the forest is great for boosting your mood and can provide therapeutic benefits. Our walks this weekend have been carefully chosen, providing you the opportunity to connect with nature without the distraction of technology.  During our walks, there is limited ..and in most cases, no phone reception at all, ensuring that we 'escape' the noise and fully appreciate the calming effect of the forest.

Meet us down in Dwellingup on Saturday morning at The Blue Wren at 8.00am, grab a cuppa or a quick breakfast, before we head off around 8.30am to the Visitor’s Centre where your guides will set up a lunch making station, so you can make your lunches. At around 9.00am we will set off on our first walk of the weekend on the Bibbulmun Track, If you wish to get to the Blue Wren earlier, you can, as they open at 7.00am

Today’s walk is along the Bibbulmun Track leaving Dwellingup township, walking 8.5k to Etmilyn Siding, where we’ll enjoy a picnic lunch and an optional 20-25 minute walk through the beautiful plant life and seasonal wildflowers surrounding the area, before returning to Dwellingup along the same trail.

If you do not wish to walk the whole 17k nor retrace your steps, there is an option for you to catch the 10.30am Dwellingup Forest Train to Etmilyn Siding, meet the group there for lunch and walk the 8.5k back to town on the Bibbulmun Track.

We will return to our vehicles at Dwellingup in the afternoon, have an opportunity to grab a coldie at the “Dwelly Pub”, before heading to our accommodation where you’ll enjoy some relaxation time, before tucking into a hearty evening meal prepared by your guides.

Total Walking Distance - 17k (not including the 20 minute walk at Etmilyn)

Accommodation: Bunk house style with shared bathroom/toilets, however each lady has her own room. (No single supplement required)

After enjoying breakfast together, we’ll make our lunches, pack up and drive ‘tag-along’ to Lane Poole Reserve Ranger Station.  Here we’ll leave some of the vehicles, as we hope to carpool as much as possible driving onto Nanga Campsite, where the beginning of our walk starts today.

Today’s walk is the 18k, King Jarrah Loop Trail, which is Class 4 (Moderately Strenuous) and is for experienced bushwalkers only.  The walk should take approximately 5 - 6 hours and then afterwards, we’ll return to the Ranger Station, pick up the vehicles, before saying our goodbyes and making the return journey to Perth.
