The Margaret River Discovery is a high quality program filled with fun and excitement! We combine the three challenging activities of rock climbing, abseiling and caving with dorm style accommodation in the magnificent Margaret River area for an inspirational weekend you won't forget!
The Margaret River Discovery is a two and a half day adventure program that allows participants to leave the hustle of the city life behind on Friday evening for the tranquillity of a bush camp for the weekend.
Your adventures for the weekend start off with abseiling and rockclimbing at the Wilyabrup Sea Cliffs overlooking the beautiful Southern Ocean. After a thorough safety brief and equipment check, its time to perfect your technique on the sea cliffs' nursery slopes before mastering the main abseil of 35m. During the day you will also get the chance to master the art of rock climbing. It's harder than it looks! Day two centres around the underground treasures of the Leeuwin Naturalist Ridge. The caves are the hidden treasures of the region. The caves we venture into are found underneath the Boranup forest and have spectacular stalactites and stalagmites. The climax of the day is abseiling down the largest single pitch abseil in the South West
- a 53m descent into Giants cave through a solution pipe.
All you need is an adventurous spirit - we provide the rest!
