Your Outback Adventure Itinerary
DAY ONE
Adelaide to Coober Pedy. Depart Adelaide by 7am our journey takes us through Pt. Augusta, Woomera and Lake Hart were we stroll accross the salt crust. Arriving into Coober Pedy and our underground hostel accommodation. Tonight we dine at the award winning Pizza Bar.

DAY TWO
An early morning getaway and a day to sit back and enjoy the passing scenery as we leave South Australia
and venture into the Northern Territory along the Stuart Highway. The road is named after explorer John McDouall Stuart. Shifting sand dunes, salt and clay pans made this construction a tough assignment.
We spend the night at Kings Creek Station, a working cattle and camel station. Accom/swag camping - Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
DAY THREE
Kings Canyon, a scenic landscape of rugged ranges, ancient sandstone walls, rockholes and gorges.
Take a short walk into the base of the canyon or for the more adventurous a 3 hour climb along the rim
of the canyon. A birds eye view is the best way to see this amazing part of the Watarrka National Park. After our walk we drive to the most spectacular of indigenous sacred sites, Uluru - Ayers Rock is our
destination today. It is the world's largest monolith rising 318 metres above ground with a circumference
of 8 kilometres. Discover the cultural centre and witness a beautiful sunset with many changing colours of
the rock and landscape.

DAY FOUR
Uluru is one of Australia's most recognized natural landmarks and we start the day with a sunrise breakfast
at Uluru. Then it is time to take in the true magnitude of the rock, by a walk around the base. Rest for a
couple of hours back at camp before we head off to discover Kata Tjuta, the Olga’s. Estimated to be over
500 million years old, the 36 weathered rock domes are another significant area for the Anangu people.
Why not finish your experience here with the famous Sounds of Silence Dinner at Uluru (optional).

DAY FIVE
Time to say good bye to this world known part of Outback Australia and travel onto Alice Springs.
We arrive early afternoon at our accommodationl for the next 2 nights.

DAY SIX
Enjoy your free day to explore the art galleries and catch up on your laundry. Take a sunrise balloon ride
or travel to the Western Mac Donalds. Visit the Royal Flying Doctor Service or the Road Transport Hall of Fame. Joining up again for dinner.

DAY SEVEN
Today we retrace our footsteps back to Coober Pedy, the Opal mining capital of the world. We take in an
underground mining tour while your dinner is prepared

DAY EIGHT
After some time to explore this unusual town of Coober Pedy its time to head further south along the highway to Mt. Remarkable National Park in The Flinders Ranges for our final nights camping.

DAY NINE
A climb to the lookout at Mambray Creek and a drive home through the Clare Valley, one of South Australia's
premier wine regions. Time for a taste or two at Taylors Vineyard and lunch in the picturesque valley.
Our arrival back into Adelaide by late afternoon and in time for a refreshing shower and a change of clothes before heading off to Truely Tribal Headquarters for a final Aussie BBQ.
