Day 1 - Friday
We depart Perth and head north to Lancelin where we get to try our hand at Sandboarding (weather permitting). After experiencing an adrenilin rush on the dunes, we then head a little further north to Nambung National Park and the facinating Pinnacles Desert. After exploring these unique formations, we continue our journey north along the coastal road to our accommodation.

Day 2 - Saturday
As we travel further north today, we stop en-route to check out the fascinating Stomatolites in the Hamelin Pool Marine Nature Reserve and enjoy a picnic lunch, before heading off to Carnarvon to pick up supplies. After a short break in Carnarvon, we continue onto our outback station accommodation for the evening.

Day 3 - Sunday
This morning we take the time to explore the station and it's surrounds, check out the "Blowholes", enjoy the isolated expanse of coastal strip nearby and take a swim or snorkle in the pristine waters before making our way onto Exmouth.

Day 4 - Monday
Today is a full day exploring Ningaloo Reef. A local kayaking tour company will pick us up early in the morning from our accommodation and take us on a scenic drive into Cape Range National Park. After a safety briefing and under their guidance, we then paddle off into the blue; the lagoons of Ningaloo are filled with marine life that will surprise and thrill, the snorkeling can be world class. Turtles, rays, reef sharks, schools of fish and seabird sightings are common; occasionally we see dugongs and dolphins.

Day 5 - Tuesday
Free Day for you to explore Exmouth at your leisure. Lots of activities on offer, including diving, snorkeling, swimming, join a tour, humpback whale spotting, quad biking and more...or just kick back and chillax by the pool.

Day 6 - Wednesday
Early start this morning as we head inland through the vast landscapes of the Pilbara to the iron ore mining town of Tom Price. We take a break at Tom Price and stock up on provisions, before heading out to the amazing Karijini National Park, a true natural wonder of the world! Tonight we treat our taste buds to one of the many tantalising delights featured on the menu at the unique outback fusion style restaurant located within the park. (own expense)

Day 7 - Thursday
Spend the day exploring the wonders that make up Karijini National Park. Karijini is famous for its dramatic creeks, spectacular gorges and towering sheer sided chasms up to 100 metres deep. There are plenty of self guided & graded walking trails to choose from, all of which take you on magnificent journeys into and around specatacular gorges, many with fabulous swimming holes to cool off in along the way.

Day 8 - Friday
Karijini's big day out girls...under the guideance of our friends at WestOz Active, we're going canyoning & abseiling in places where you cannot go without a qualified guide...awesome fun! Our adventure commences from Knox gorge & with a tricky shuffle through a very narrow, steep section, we then get into the water and slide around a twisting channel and shoot straight off a 5m waterfall....Natures Waterslide!
We then abseil down the next waterfall before reaching stunning Red gorge. Its time for Morning Tea. Then with the aid of inner tubes and paddles, we sit back and take in the specter of this timeless country. Once we arrive at Junction pool its time for lunch. Then we make our way to Hancock gorge and begin to ascend up the chute onwards to Reagan's Pool & an assisted climb brings us to Kermit's Pool & the Spider walk. We finish the day at Oxer's lookout with a cold drink, taking in the epic journey we have just completed.

Day 9 - Saturday
An early start today as we head out of the National Park to begin our drive south along the Great Northern Highway. Our journey takes us through some rugged outback landscapes and onto the iron ore mecca, Newman, then continues through many large cattle and sheep stations. We will spend our last night together as a group either at one of the vast stations in the area (dependent upon road & station conditions) or in one of the many historic hotels in the vicinity.

Day 10 - Sunday
Our last day on the road takes us through the historic mining towns of Mt Magnet and Cue where we stop off to explore some of the history. Further down the track we travel through many sheep farming districts North East of Perth, then onto picturesque New Norcia, which was built as a mission by the Benedictine Monks in the 1840's and as the day draws to a close, we arrive in Perth

You MUST be a fit and active person.
You MUST have a good swimming ability.

This tour by it's very nature is not designed for the 5 Star Traveller. It is for the girl who has an 'adventurous spirit' and is looking for a unique and rewarding 'experience' You need to be prepared to sleep in dormitory accommodation (we recommend earplugs), be happy to pitch in at meal times with preparation/clean up and you need to be comfortable with travelling long distances...WA is vast, so be patient!!
NOTE: This Tour is not limited by age, yet limited by activity level. A reoccurring injury or a low activity level can put you in a lot of discomfort & also cause the tour to be altered or in the case of our Full Day Karijini component, even terminated to the frustration & disappointment of other participants, so please consider carefully if this tour is for you.
