Learn the Ropes is an introduction to Sailing within a small private group - We are only taking 8 ladies to ensure you get the most out of your day and have plenty of room to move about the stunning 38' Lagoon Sailing Catamaran. Not only will you learn to sail, you'll get to know each other through many types of communication, strategic thinking and practical skills you'll experience, learn & implement on the day. This activity is sure to leave you feeling empowered!!
In addition to learning something new under the guidance of the professional crew, you're going to be onboard a beautiful craft with all the creature comforts you could imagine. Inside there is spacious saloon seating for 8 with uninterrupted 360 degree views, toilet and shower facilities, fridge etc ... and outside, wide decks and a rigid walkway on the trampolines so you can move about safely, several zones to relax; and there are range of activities onboard for our use when we pull up anchor at either Garden or Carnac Island (best place on the day dependent upon weather conditions). These include stand up paddle boards, kayaks, water inflatables and more.
There will be tea, coffee, biscuits and fruit on board to enjoy throughout the day and your Adventurous Women Host will fire up the Barby for lunch ... All you have to do is bring your favourite drinks along.

A Sense of Adventure
Great experience - I realised it isn't my thing but certainly worth giving it a go and it was great to have the opportunity.
Another fantastic outing with AW. So well organised and the Hotshots coaches were very patient and thorough with is all. Lunch was delicious too.
Orienteering for Beginners at Whiteman Park was a great experience! Polished up on some skills I hadn't used for 40 years or so. Good to know this skill!!
I have had exposure to a lot of the Bib maps and compasses through my husband but I have never had the opportunity to put the two together and understand how they work. Finally I have some experience and might just be able to go for a hike and find my way!
This was such a fun event! The Hot Shots hosts were very patient and made learning to shoot clay pigeons easy. Sue did an awesome job of capturing our day for us all. As always the AW lunch was delicious!
