The circuit is an approx 17km intermediate grade track and punctuated with breath-taking waterfalls, amazing scenery and too many "Oh WOW!" moments to count.
These start early into the walk before you even descend into the valley with beautiful cascades tumbling over the escarpments and views across the valley toward the Gold Coast.
As you descend into the denser ancient rainforest the moments just keep coming as you encounter beautiful rock formations, hidden glades and crystal clear pools with the only sounds being bird life, the wind in the trees and roar of waterfalls which provide numerous photo opportunities throughout the walk.
Around half way we reach the "Meeting of the Waters"; a beautiful peaceful spot where a number of streams meet in a boulder filled, rainforest paradise that leaves you feeling like you've been transported back to the prehistoric age. This is our lunch spot spot!
After lunch and a nice break we set out again and start to head back up to the ridge. The walking gets a little harder but it's easy to be distracted by the scenery (and more waterfalls!) making the time pass quickly.
Just when you're starting to feel the climb you're rewarded with another beautiful waterfall that the track passes behind, before continuing on to the top of the escarpment and a pool that is the head of the waterfall you passed under. The track then follows the cliff top providing numerous lookouts and views back across the valley as you make your way back to the carpark.
To get there from Brisbane use the Pacific Motorway and take the exit 69 at Nerang, then onto Route 97- Nerang Murwillumbah Rd, then left onto Pine Creek Rd, Canyon Parade Springbrook.
NOTE: The Springbrook Rd remains closed
Our AW Host Chris will meet everyone at the Canyon Lookout car park prior to 9:00am. Chris will be wearing the bright orange Adventurous Women ® ™ cap for easy identification and you will be advised her contact phone number should you need to make contact on the day.

I haven't been to Bribie Island in years and have never walked around the island. Such a treat and with a great group of women and of course our absolutely wonderful hosts, Caron & Kat.
Lovely location, great guides and fun friendly company. :)

Great fun and great company
Fabulous day. The crew were exceptional as were the volunteers. Great fun learning the ropes (literally) and being given the chance to 'captain' the boat.
Fantastic adventure that suits all abilities.
