Terrain:  Varied, moderately steep and rough in places which can make it more challenging for ascents & descents.

The trail includes moderately steep and rough sections and while it can be walked in four hours by very fit people, we've allowed 6 hours for this walk, so that it can be enjoyed at a reasonable pace by those with a good general level of fitness, allowing time for lunch, toilet & rest stops as required.

This walk was such a delight. After raining most of the day, it stopped just as we made our ascent. The clouds parted and the sunset was magnificent. It was such an auspicious way to start the new year. The champagne and the pack of goodies provided was very yummy. The descent in the dusk and dark was amazing as well. Im a convert for sunset walks and will look forward to sunrise one now.
