During our time in the region, we’ll visit a couple of boutique industry's, drive to Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse and take a leisurely 3.7km stroll to picturesque Sugarloaf Rock. Day 2 Beedelup National Park - Beedelup Falls (Walk - 14.6k)

This morning we travel onto the Beedelup National Park, where we begin our first walk, finishing at beautiful Beedelup Falls in the afternoon. From here, we call into Pemberton, where you have free time to stroll around the town, checking out some of the gourmet delights on offer, enjoying a cuppa, or if you’re looking for a further challenge, we’ll take you to the famous Gloucester Tree and you can climb it! Afterwards, it’s off to our cozy chalet accommodation, which is nestled among the Karri Trees, close to the Warren River.

Day 3 Gloucester Tree - Warren River (Walk - 9.8k)

Today’s walk begins at the mighty Gloucester Tree, continuing on into the magnificent karri’s, where we’ll enjoy sounds of the birds and the many delightful scents, typical of the south west forested region. Along the way, we’ll divert off the track a little and walk along a lovely trail following Lefroy Brook to The Cascades...this is a beautiful setting where we will enjoy our morning tea. We walk on through the forest, with the sound of the babbling brook close by, arriving at our destination at around lunch time.

After a picnic lunch, we’ll visit one of the local wineries, giving you the opportunity to sample some quality south west wines, before heading back to our accommodation, where the rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy! There are plenty of bush walking tracks winding their way around the property and through the adjacent forest alongside the Warren River, or perhaps you may wish to check out the on-site games room/library, feed the birds or simply take the time to relax and just enjoy the tranquil surrounds.

Day 4 Valley of the Giants - Conspicuous Beach (Walk - 15.8k)

Leaving Pemberton, we drive a couple of hours south, into the heart of the Valley of the Giants, an internationally recognised nature-based tourism attraction. It’s here that we’ll experience the excitement of The Tree Top Walk, which is 40 metres high above the ground, through the canopy of the the tingle forest….you’ll enjoy magnificent views of core wilderness areas from this vantage point. As we continue our walk, a boardwalk winds through a grove of veteran tingle trees known as the Ancient Empire. After passing through heathlands and low woodlands, dominated by the magnificent red flowering gum, the track rejoins the coast at Conspicuous Beach where our walk ends today. After a great day’s walking, we’ll head off to where we’ll be staying for the next couple of nights. Settle in and relax, while your guides prepare your dinner.

Day 5 Conspicuous Beach - Peaceful Bay (15.2km)

Today we continue heading east from where we finished walking yesterday at Conspicuous Beach. Our first encounter, while we’re still bright eyed and bushy tailed, is the climb up to Conspicuous Cliff-top lookout, where we are rewarded with spectacular views of the beach, the river flowing into the sea and if we’re lucky, we may spot dolphins or a whale or two! Once we’ve caught our breath and spent time enjoying the views, we keep walking through to Rame Head and then onto Peaceful Bay. This section of the Bibbulmun Track, is one of our favourites, as it provides the greatest variety of scenery and vegetation seen anywhere along the track.

Day 6 Walpole to Perth

We set off back to Perth today, taking our first break at Donnelly River Village to say g'day to the resident Emu’s and Kangaroos, who spend their day’s freely roaming around the village….It’s quite a sight to see! After leaving the village, we’ll continue our drive north, stopping en-route to grab a bite to eat for lunch. We anticipate arrival back in Perth around 5pm.

No Princess Policy

Princess crossed outThis tour by it's very nature is not designed for the 5 Star Traveller. It is for the girl who has an 'adventurous spirit' and is looking for a unique and rewarding experience (Once in a Lifetime)! You should be able to adopt a "Go With The Flow" attitude, after-all we are in a foreign country and things don't always go to plan...this will help you chill out and therefore get the best out of your holiday. You will also need to be mobile without assistance - some of the sights require you to be on your feet, navigating steps and uneven surfaces at times. We also have a couple of walks as part of this tour - these walks can be achieved by anyone with a general level of fitness, but again mobility is the key, as with all of our tours.

My first adventure for this year with AW after joining again in January 2016. This was a good preparation for the Cape to Cape which I completed two weeks later. A brilliant cross section of this track.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time away with the AW Team. Everything was organised perfectly. Sue H is a very responsible and experienced driver and i felt safe and secure driving around the South West chatting and laughing with all the other women in the bus. The food was scrumptious with plenty of healthy choices. Our guide, Sue O was very professional and considerate ensuring we were all comfortable with the pace of our walks. The tour was fun and interesting and walking through many different types of terrain was a delight! Thank you Sue H, Sue O and Brad for all your efforts to ensure we had a fabulous time!
