Join us for a full day hiking experience on the Numbat Trail within the Paruna Wildlife Sanctuary.  This solid day walk also incorporates part of the Quenda and Possom trails and provides a wonderful challenge to experienced walkers, rewarding them with a wide variety of natural features from creek lines to granite outcrops and wildflower displays, to open powder bark forest.

Distance:  12k Approx (estimated 8 hours including lunch break & frequent rest stops)

Terrain:  Hilly - Medium to Hard Rating - Suitable for very fit bush walkers only (or those involved in endurance sport preparation)

Meeting Point:   Paruna Wildlife Sanctuary, which is 1 hour north east of Perth in the Avon Valley on Clenton Road, Gidgegannup.  Click Here for Google Map Directions.  Park in the car park adjacent to a locked gate which leads to the trails.  The locked gate can only be accessed with a code, which we receive on booking so if you aren't able to make it, please let us know the night before so we're not waiting.  Phone reception is limited and signal is only on top of the higher hills once in the sanctuary.  We will allow 15 minutes grace time for anyone who may be running late so please plan your journey.
