This gorgeous Swan River Paddle takes us through Historical Woodbridge, Guildford & Caversham - A cruisy 7km kayaking experience filled with loads of history, old bridges, heritage buildings, birds, lagoons, riverside cafes/wineries and pretty reserves.
We'll enjoy an easy exploratory paddle along a protected section of the Swan River that also marks part of the Avon Descent. Our AW Host will serve up a yummy morning tea either during or after the paddle, rounding out the perfect way to spend a Sunday morning!
The distance of the Paddle is 7km and should be achievable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness. No prior kayaking experience is required.

- Sunscreen & Hat
- Water to drink while paddling
- Paddling Gloves - or Bike Gloves will do the job (Optional but helpful to protect the back of your hands from the sun)
- Change of clothes and towel for after paddling if you want
You may choose to just take part in this ONE section only, OR you may choose to continue the following month and complete the next section on the river, starting off where we finish (as we're doing a different section each month until we reach Coode Street in South Perth). You may even keep going each month to complete all five sections, the choice is yours .. there's no pressure (just good times) and there are a good range of paddling experiences to be enjoyed, either as a one off .... or more than one if you wish.
If you really want to complete the whole sectional paddle over the 5 months, but some of the dates don't suit or you're not able to commit right now, then let us know by emailing sue@adventurouswomen.com.au. We will then place your name on a list to be notified when we next run that section so you'll have first dibs prior to it's release to the general public.
