In the company of other women, you get to be you again... explore, enjoy, relax, laugh...just 'be'

Our "Winter Warmer Yoga Escape” is a fun filled three day escape incorporating yoga, meditation, gentle walking, relaxation, restaurant - casual dining, cosy wood fires, connecting with like-minded women, learning, nature immersion & time out.

Our accommodation consists of several two bedroom two story apartments, each with a cosy wood fire, overlooking a charming lake surrounded by 380 hectares of natural bushland.  We do not have the grounds to ourselves, however we have our own apartments, our own yoga space and the hosts apartment will be where we will socialise and come together for lunches. Breakfast Supplies will be provided for each apartment to enjoy when suits (some are early risers, some are not). We have one meal (Woodfired Pizza's) at the onsite restaurant as a group, however this facility is shared with others who are staying in the accommodation at the same time as we are.

The peaceful setting of this property, daily yoga/meditation, bush walks, amazing food, wine & company are sure to provide you with an opportunity to unwind, relax and reflect. You have time each day for fun and to connect with like-minded women, as well as plenty of time for rest and quiet reflection. The aim of this escape is to encourage you to practice mindfulness through movement, enjoy time away from habitual routines & the demands of daily life, bring laughter and adventure into your life…. and ensure you go home feeling refreshed & relaxed, with a big SMILE on your face.

Come alone and enjoy the time just for you, or you may wish to nurture a special bond and bring a mum, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a friend.  Everyone is welcome, and all processes, emotions and information shared during this escape are treated with the strictest confidence and utmost respect.

More Information

Is this Yoga Escape Suitable for me?

We have purposely developed this particular 'yoga escape' program to fit the Adventurous Women style of doing things. It's not a retreat and it’s a little different, in that we don’t stick to a particular philosophy or yoga practice, our food is not vegan (happy to cater for vegetarians though) and complete silence is not our strength. We appreciate that there are plenty of excellent companies who already provide complete Yoga Retreats and we’d be more than happy to recommend them, if our style doesn’t suit your needs.

For those who have been on our Yoga Retreats before, we've changed things up as you will see by the itinerary, however same hosts (Sue & Bettina), just a new adventure...different venue and meal style, so please know that when booking.  The apartments are on a property that caters for other guests, so we do not have exclusive use, however the Yoga Space and Apartments are all ours.  The grounds and the restaurant are shared with other guests.

Beginners Welcome, You don’t need to be flexible or fit … all bodies can do yoga!

Alcohol is not provided, however you are more than welcome to bring your own if you enjoy a tipple and there's opportunity to purchase when dining at the onsite restaurant.

Self Drive - We will provide directions to the property.

You need to have a "Go with The Flow Attitude”

A Little about our Yoga Facilitator - The lovely  Bettina  has been instructing Yoga classes in the Joondalup area since 2006 for adults and children of all ages, shapes and sizes. She holds a Yoga Teacher 400hr Certificate, Childrens Yoga Instructor certificate, ChiBall™ Instructor, Certificate 3 & 4 in Fitness & Personal Training, Sports Yoga Instructor ™ and has a Basic Nutrition – Healthy Eating certificate, Lift For Life™ training, Reiki I & II and is a Meditation Facilitator. She also regularly attends retreats, workshops and professional development days, within the yoga and fitness industries.

I absolutely loved the walk . I had no expectations as it was my first walk with AW but it was so good in every way. The accommodation was great , the food was excellent ,the guides were wonderful and so caring .

I can't think of any way it could be improved , except maybe having another place to stay in between the swan valley and New Norcia ,as it was a long drive back the last couple of days .

A great walk on a beautiful day with some really lovely ladies. Being in the middle of Sydney, this walk was easy to access and provided some stunning riverside scenery. Deb was a great guide who pointed out some interesting historical points along the way.
