Itinerary

Welcome to Western Australia …. Today we leave Perth at 7.30am and drive to our beautiful South West, a region not only famous for producing some of the best wines in the world, but boasting one of world's greatest long distance walking trails, The Bibbulmun Track.

We stop at Balingup where our first walk along this iconic trail commences. This section of the Bibbulmun Track takes us through the World Heritage Listed Golden Valley Tree Park, a photographers delight during the Autumn months, before finishing up at Spring Gully Road. Our journey then continues when we jump on the bus and travel onto Pemberton where we are staying for the next two nights. Time to freshen up prior to joining together around the fire for drinks & nibbles, followed by dinner served by your guides.

Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Accommodation: Comfortable Hotel/Motel Accommodation, Pemberton

This morning we travel onto the Beedelup National Park where we commence our next walk, finishing at pretty Beedelup Falls in the afternoon. There's time here to take some great snaps, take a walk over the swing bridge for great views of the falls if you wish and just enjoy what this area offers. Afterwards we return to Pemberton where you can take a stroll around the town, grab a coffee at one of the cafe's, or simply relax back at our accommodation.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Accommodation: Comfortable Hotel/Motel Accommodation, Pemberton

Today’s walk begins just outside the Gloucester National Park, passing by the mighty Gloucester Tree, where those wanting to climb to the top can do so! Continuing on into the magnificent karri’s, we’ll enjoy the sounds of birds and the many delightful scents, typical of the south west forested region. We walk on through the forest, with the sound of the babbling brook close by, arriving at our destination at around lunch time. Once we pick you up from here, we’ll take a very short drive to The Cascades...a beautiful setting where we will enjoy our lunch, before heading to Walpole where we will spend the next three nights.

Afterwards, we drive a further two hours south to Walpole, nestled in the heart of the Valley of the Giants, an internationally recognised nature-based tourism attraction. You’ll have free time later this afternoon enjoy ... relax, explore the beautiful surrounds of where we're staying, grab a canoe and take a paddle on the river .. the choice is yours.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Accommodation: Comfortable Villa Accommodation, Walpole

This morning, we experience the excitement of The Tree Top Walk, which is 40 metres high above the ground, through a canopy of the giant tingle forest. Here we have magnificent views of core wilderness areas from this vantage point. As we continue our walk, a boardwalk winds through a grove of veteran tingle trees known as the Ancient Empire.

After passing through heathlands and low woodlands, dominated by the magnificent red flowering gum, the track rejoins the coast at Conspicuous Beach where our walk ends today. After a great day’s walking, it’s back to our cozy accommodation to relax, while our guides prepare a delightful dinner.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Accommodation: Comfortable Villa Accommodation, Walpole

Today we continue heading east from where we finished walking yesterday at Conspicuous Beach. Our first encounter, while we’re still bright eyed and bushy tailed, is the climb up to Conspicuous Cliff-top lookout, where we are rewarded with spectacular views of the beach, the river flowing into the sea and if we’re lucky, we may spot dolphins or a whale or two!

Once we’ve caught our breath and spent time enjoying the views, we keep walking through to Rame Head and then onto Peaceful Bay. This section of the Bibbulmun Track is one of our favourites, as it provides the greatest variety of scenery and vegetation seen anywhere along the track.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Accommodation: Comfortable Villa Accommodation, Walpole

This morning after relaxing start to the day and a yummy cooked breakfast, we pack up our bags and head down to the jetty where we take part in a South West 'must do' - The WOW Wilderness Eco Cruise on the Walpole/Nornalup Inlet. After the cruise, we begin our journey back to Perth, arriving at around 6.30pm.

Accommodation

During this tour we will be staying in two different areas of our south-west and we will be accommodated in both hotel/motel style rooms & villa style chalets ... all very comfortable (linen included).

Unless you are travelling with a friend or have requested the single supplement, your name will be placed in a draw along with the other ladies on the tour to allocate room buddies.

This will change again, when we arrive at our second lot of accommodation part way through the tour.   We have found this to be a wonderful way for our clients to get to know different ladies while on tour and have noticed that it really helps to bond our groups.

Please note if you pay for a single supplement on this tour it means that you have your own room / bathroom at the Motel accommodation in Pemberton and then in Walpole you have your own Queen bedroom within a shared villa with 2 other ladies (shared bathroom facilities between 3 of you).

For guests flying out of Perth please book flights departing after 8pm or the following day

No Princess Policy

Princess crossed out

This tour by it's very nature is not designed for the 5 Star Traveller. We do however, stay in very comfortable accommodation and we don't carry heavy backpacks, so there's no roughing it ...... Our No Princess Policy is more about adopting a 'Go with the flow' mind set when travelling as part of a group so you enjoy the experience - ie: we suggest earplugs if you're a light sleeper, or pay the extra single supplement of $500 for a single room. We mix it up - you get to room with a different lady from the group when we change over our accommodation location and this is designed to bond the group, while alleviating any potential annoyances that may occur as a result of sharing with the same person the whole time.

Cancellation & Refunds

Notice of cancellation must be in writing, with an email as an acceptable form of communication, directly to Adventurous Women with the following conditions:

  • 60 days plus prior to trip departure - Refund of Deposit minus a $50.00 Admin Fee

  • 29 - 15 days prior to trip departure - 75% Of The Tour Cost

This was a great walk - beautiful place to walk. Betty is fantastic - there is never any pressure to try and keep up with the group and so I can walk at my own pace - with Betty keeping a close eye out.

Sue was always at hand when we needed her, and the meals were great. Jazz looked after us all day, and I think I got extra attention because I was old, although I think she will agree that I managed OK. And Leonie was just an extra bonus, especially with her i-phone tips.

Flinders Peak - A Tough Summit Flinders Peak Conservation Park QLD

Sat 2nd October 2021 | Chris J

Flinders Peak has been on my bucket list for a few years now and I am so glad that I have finally reached the summit. It is not an easy hike but it is challenging in that it is mostly uphill with a rocky ridge to walk along and many more rocks to climb. I loved it and would do it again. Thanks AW for hosting a great day out. As usual, your guides are welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful.
