Join us for a fun morning learning to surf in a relaxed environment surrounded by supportive ladies and and the most experienced female surfing teacher on the Gold Coast.

Our 90 minute lesson begins at 9.30 am on the beach where we will learn the basics of surfing including surf safety, surfboard handling, paddling, standing, falling techniques and wave selection for around 15-20 minutes before hitting the water for the remainder of the time with our instructors to help get you standing, improve your skills and gain confidence.
After the class we will enjoy a warming morning tea and have a chance to chat about our lesson.

There is plenty of parking at the meeting location as well as further along the road if needed. Please ensure you give yourself plenty of time to park just in case you need go a bit further away. If you're there early head along Currambine beach and see the bathing lady statue.

Please Note: Wet shirts/rashies will be provided but you're welcome to bring your own.

Good day out with great views and some hill and terrain challenges which was good training for Oxfam trail ! Our guide Sue was excellent and hadn’t realised we’d get real coffee and home baked treats on top of Mt .Cuthbert!

I enjoyed the morning mainly due to 1. doing something different & the weather was lovely 2. I haven't been to Northbridge for a while so it was a good excuse to go have a look around.

Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary Stand Up Paddle Board Tour Adelaide (Ex Garden Island) SA

Excellent tour. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. We were made feel welcome by the Adventurous Women leaders. The group was a good size so that we all had the opportunity to thoroughly enjoy the SUP experience. The afternoon tea afterwards was beautifully presented and gave us the opportunity to reflect on our experience. Thanks for a fantastic afternoon.

What a great weekend this was and I can thoroughly recommend it. It was very well organised, Bob and Ann were excellent teachers and I learnt so much. Being with a great bunch of women just topped the weekend off.
