In response to WA's relaxation of group numbers gathering in the outdoors while practicing social distancing and good hygiene, Adventurous Women are taking a soft-start approach to our outdoor activities, by offering a 'social' beach walk once a week, at little or no cost until we feel confident & comfortable that we can return business as usual. We hope that you'll take this opportunity to join us in the outdoors as we work within the guidelines provided by our WA Premier.
Early morning on Mother's Day, join one of our Adventurous Women Host's on a social beach walk along Mullaloo Beach (9 walkers / 1 AW Host). Great way to find out about Adventurous Women and what we do, and meet like-minded women while doing something active, social and fun!
Your AW Host will be wearing a bright orange AW Cap and meet everyone out the front of the Mullaloo Life Saving Club at 8.00am.
After intro's, the group will set off on the walk which is 8km barefoot on the beach while maintaining appropriate social distance. You may like to have a dip in the ocean while on the walk or afterwards - totally optional and up to you, as this is a social walk, not a guided walk. Afterwards you may choose to buy a takeaway coffee, so bring some flip flops, a card/cash, towel to sit on and pull up a space 1.5 apart - on the lawn with any others who are wanting to stay.
