Completed in 1936 and named after the third son of King George V and Queen Mary. The Prince Henry Cliff Walk is an adventurous but moderately rated 7km walking trail between Katoomba and Gordon Falls Lookout in Leura; and one of the few walks in the mountains that doesn't involve climbing in and out of the valley.
The walk has some of the best views in the Blue Mountains, and affords plenty of beautiful lookout points along the way including Olympian Rock, Elysian Rock and Gordon Falls Lookouts. As well as passing by some of the most iconic areas such as Echo Point and the Three Sisters.
Meet Deb, your Adventurous Women ® ™ host, at the entrance to Scenic world in Katoomba at 9am (see map), where there is plenty of free parking.
We will then get shuttled to our starting point at Gorgon Falls in Leura to make our way back along the cliff edge overlooking the beautiful Jamison Valley.
For those preferring to take the train, Gordon Falls Lookout in Leura is 2km from the station and Scenic World in Katoomba is again approx 2km from the station.
