Our Reservoir Ramble is the perfect introduction to bushwalking for beginners, or experienced walkers looking for a leisurely walk in stunning surrounds. Beautiful bush, spectacular views, lots birds (waterbirds, flocks of Carnaby cockatoos, galahs, 28's) relatively remote.

This track is suitable for the beginner hiker as we're not moving at a fast pace.  Plenty of time to stop, sit and enjoy the surrounds.  The ground is somewhat uneven at times, some small rocks/honky nuts in places, but largely easy going.  There is one longish, steady (but not-too-steep) uphill, and one shorter steeper down hill.

Approximate Length of walk: 5.5km in total

Meet Place: Sweets & Treats, Helena Valley

Meet Time: 9.30am

Our Adventurous Women guide will meet the group at Sweets & Treats in Helena Valley for a buy-your-own cuppa and intro's, before heading off in convoy to the start point (5 mins drive). You may choose to carpool from Sweets & Treats, or simply follow along in your own vehicle (there is limited parking at the start point, but the AW guide will discuss options available.)  Once at the walk location, our guide will lead you on this beautiful bushwalk, stopping enroute for lunch (BYO) down by the water, before returning back to the vehicles and driving back to Sweets & Treats.  Psssst ....and there's even a little prize on offer for the lady who identifies the "Emu Tree" along this track!!
