Leave the burbs behind & WANDER OUT YONDER with us, exploring a couple of gorgeous little coastal towns north of Perth.
This is a self drive road trip whereby our guides will meet you in Lancelin (Locally known as 'Lano') at 8.30am outside Have A Chat General Store. It's a beautiful drive for a Sunday outing close to Perth to explore some of our hidden gems! Once everyone arrives our guides will outline the plan for the day and everyone will then follow them in convoy to the Lancelin Dunes where the first adventure takes place.
If you haven't guessed already ..... We're taking you Sandboarding!!!! Such a fun thing to do, lots of laughs and gets the adrenalin pumping. If Sandboarding isn't your thing, it's seriously just as much fun to pull up your camp chair and watch/laugh at the antics!
We'll spend a couple of hours at these magnificent Dunes, before heading off in convoy back towards Perth to the coastal town of Guilderton (also known as Moore River). Once at Guilderton you're free to go for a dip if you wish before changing into your hiking gear while our guides set up a lunch making station (wraps, rolls, a variety of salad fillings, spreads, cold meats & chicken, coffee, tea, juice and a sweet treat)
After you've enjoyed lunch and had a little chill out time, it's time to work off those calories! Our guides will lead you on a spectacular 'very little known' hike of approximately 6.3kms where you'll hear about the strong Noongar history of the area and some interesting information and about the shipwrecks along this part of the coast. Towards the end of the walk there is an opportunity to cool off with a dip if it's warm as you will return via the beach. Once the walk is finished you may wish to grab a cuppa or cold drink from the cafe before saying your goodbye's and heading back to the big smoke!
IMPORTANT / VEHICLES & CAR POOLING
**Car Pooling** - If you'd like the opportunity to Car Pool, please let us know at the time of booking and we'll do our best to pair you up with someone who lives close to your area. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate this request depending on who books and where they're coming from, but we will do our very best.
A 4WD is not necessary, as you can drive to the hard rock surface at the entrance to the dunes and park your vehicle there. One of our guides or anyone else in a 4WD can then ferry you to the Dunes. If you've got a 4WD, it's an easy drive on the sand to the base of the dunes
