Ever wanted to try your hand at sailing?
Now is your opportunity on the beautiful 100ft timber schooner South Passage, Queensland's only owned and operated Tall Ship run by the not-for-profit organisation.
Let the fabulous volunteers who crew the ship "show you the ropes" and explain how to raise the sails, tacking and gybing on the waters of Moreton Bay.
You can do as much or as little as you like while on the voyage including, with the skipper's permission the chance to grab the wheel, but don’t miss this opportunity to get on board with this fantastic experience, which will give you a smile bigger than the schooner itself that will last for days.
Our direction and distance it takes will of course depend on the winds on the day but we may make it over to the Big Sand Hills on the south end of Moreton Island or Horseshoe Bay over on Peel Island.
Please note: To attend this event you must be COVID double vaccinated. Proof of vaccination MUST be supplied BEFORE the event by emailing a screen shot or appropriate document to office@adventurouswomen.com.au but must ALSO be taken along with you on the day as South Passage also require all crew and passengers over the age of 16yrs to provide proof of vaccination, or a medical exemption certificate, before boarding
● A day on the bay on a tall ship - get as involved as you want, or simply sit back and relax.
● Learn the ropes and perhaps have the chance to take the wheel, under supervision

Notice of cancellation must be in writing, with an email as an acceptable form of communication, directly to Adventurous Women with the following conditions:
No refund is available after departure of a walk or tour has commenced.
- 6 days or less prior to departure - a credit will be provided if we are unable find a replacement
Please Note: If you test positive to COVID-19, or are deemed to be a close contact of a positive COVID-19 person and are therefore unable to join the activity, you will receive a credit to be used at a later date (this is applicable to Adventurous Women solely operated activities.

What an amazing adventure!! A perfect mix of fun, excitement, challenges, experience, learning, friendship, laughs, doggies and lotsa water. I feel like I achieved something just a little bit out of my comfort zone.
This trip was so much better than your average organised holiday. I'm already checking out the other trips run by Adventurous Women!!
