Overview

Enjoy a day hike on the Cronan Creek Track

Join us for a beautiful 13km walk along the scenic Cronan Creek Track, winding through lush rainforest, peaceful creek crossings and stunning natural surroundings. Led by an experienced AW Tour Leader, this guided hike is a wonderful opportunity to explore the outdoors while sharing the experience with a group of like-minded women.

We'll set off early to enjoy cooler temperatures and avoid the crowds, following mostly gentle fire trails with easy gradients. As a warm up, we'll stop by the Yellow Pinch Lookout, which offers amazing views of Mount Barney. It's a relatively gentle uphill hike that gets a bit more challenging toward the end, but the view is well worth the effort.

Returning to the trail, we'll take in the sights and sounds of the rainforest before stopping at a picturesque waterhole for lunch. Bring your own lunch and, if the weather is warm, enjoy a refreshing swim before we begin our return journey.

While the walk is generally easy-going, there is a short steep section near the start that lasts approximately 500 metres. Expect a relaxed and enjoyable day outdoors, finishing around 2:00pm.

Fitness/Walk Grade

This is a Grade 3 hike, which is suitable for most fitness levels. The track does not feature any technical or bush-walking sections, however there is a short, steep incline at the start for approximately 500 metres.

What should I bring?

Please bring the following:

Water (minimum 2 litres)
Snacks and Lunch
Sunscreen
Personal First Aid Kit including a snake bandage, blister care and any personal medicines
Bathers and Towel (optional)
Water walking shoes / sandals if you have them

Cancellation by Adventurous Women:
In the event that we cancel a tour or are unable to guarantee the departure due to not meeting minimum numbers, we will provide a full refund.

Cancellation by you:
Notice of cancellation must be in writing, with an email as an acceptable form of communication, directly to Adventurous Women with the following conditions:

14 days + prior to departure - Full Refund
13 days or less - No Refund
No refund is available after departure of a tour has commenced.
