Lovely outing on the river. Very peaceful and a different perspective from the river.
Discover the spectacular Noosa Headlands on a relaxed coastal walk through Noosa National Park. Wander between golden beaches and lush forest, soak up stunning ocean views and enjoy a fun day outdoors with a group of like-minded women.
Join Adventurous Women for a relaxed day exploring the spectacular Noosa Headlands. With golden beaches, rugged coastline and peaceful eucalypt forest, Noosa National Park is one of Australia's most beautiful places to walk.
The 12-kilometre walk begins at Sunshine Beach, where we'll set off along the breathtaking coastal track. With sweeping ocean views around every corner, keep an eye on the water below, where dolphins and turtles are often spotted.
We'll arrive at Laguna Bay for a well-earned break, with the opportunity to purchase a coffee or tea before continuing via the shaded Tanglewood Track. Winding through coastal heath and towering gum trees, this peaceful inland trail leads us back to Sunshine Beach.
Celebrate the day with a refreshing swim or join your AW Tour Leader and fellow walkers for lunch at the Surf Club (not included). It's a fantastic day of fresh air, stunning scenery and wonderful company.
This is a Grade 2 walk, so no previous bushwalking experience is required. The track is relatively flat, and we'll walk at a comfortable pace with plenty of stops along the way.
The walk is approximately 12 kilometres in total, with some sections on soft sand, which can make it feel more challenging. If you have a reasonable level of fitness and are comfortable being on your feet for four or more hours, you should find it both achievable and enjoyable. Just be sure to wear comfortable, well broken-in walking shoes.
