Sunday 6th March, 2016 - Queenstown
Today is your arrival day, you have some free time to explore Queenstown prior to our group meeting which will be conducted at 6pm in the main reception area of the Motel. Our Group Manager will meet you all here, introduce everyone and conduct a short briefing about what you can expect over the next few days. You will then all head downtown to enjoy your first group meal together.

Monday 7th March, 2016 - Queenstown
Another day in paradise, before you hit the Milford Track tomorrow! Great chance to pick up any additional items you may require for the walk and check out some of the many activities on offer in Queenstown. At 4pm we will all meet for a briefing about the walk and to collect our maps and other info. Afterwards, our Group Manager will take you shopping for any food supplies you may require and then out to a local restaurant for dinner.

Tuesday 8th March, 2016 - Friday 11th March - Milford Track Walk
You will be walking the track at your own pace and will re-group at designated points along the way, which our Group Coordinator will arrange, or at the end of the day once in the huts. Each of you will be provided with a full briefing, you will be carrying your own gear, a map and will be walking along a well marked trail. There is a Warden assigned to each hut and he/she will be able to provide can you with in-depth knowledge about the track/conservation if you wish to know more.
Full details, including walking distances and gear required, etc ..will be supplied on request/booking.

Friday 11th March, 2016
After finishing our Milford Track Walk today, a short boat ride from Sandfly Point will take us to the Visitors Centre at Milford Sound, where we’ll board our cruise boat to enjoy the splendours of the Milford Sound, before heading back to Queenstown.

Saturday 12th March, 2016 - Queenstown
Today is a day of leisure in Queenstown, as there is so much on offer here, your Group Manager is a ‘local’ and can assist you in providing options, or you can simply use today to relax and catch up on washing/shopping if you wish. Some of the Options include: Shotover Jet or Canyon Swing, Bungy, Luge,Ice Bar, Skyline Gondola Ride and more!

Sunday 13th March, 2016 Queenstown/Clyde to Omakau
This morning we board the Intercity Bus from Queenstown to Clyde, where we will be met by a representative from our cycle supplier in NZ, who will fit us out with bikes, helmets and all the equipment required to complete our ride. Our Group Manager will then issue everyone with a rail trail passport which can be stamped at every station along the way, explain how the day will run and conduct a short cycling orientation around the town of Clyde so you can get used to your bike, before you all head off on the trail.

Monday 14th March, 2016 - Omakau to Wedderburn
Bike from Omakau to Wedderburn, before being transported to nearby Naseby. Highlights of today’s ride include the spectacular Poolburn Gorge Viaduct and tunnels, the vast wide open spaces of the Ida Valley, the Idaburn dam (famous for it’s Winter Curling) and the quaint town of Wedderburn.

Tuesday 15th March, 2016 - Wedderburn to Kokonga
Before heading off on our cycle journey today, we get to try our hand at the ancient sport of curling at the new indoor purpose built ice facility in Naseby. After all the fun & frivolity...we’ll be transported to Wedderburn to pick up our bikes for today’s ride. Highlights of today’s ride include: crossing the Maniototo Plains, visiting the rural art deco town of Ranfurly, unaltered stone bridge over Cap Burn and the Taieri River.

Wednesday 16th March, 2016 - Kokonga to Middlemarch / Dunedin
Bike from Kokonga to Middlemarch, where we take a shuttle bus to Pukerangi Railway Station, ending our journey to Dunedin in true style on the Taieri Gorge Railway. Highlights of the final day’s ride include: Prices Creek Tunnel, views of the Rock and Pillar & Taieri Ranges, the Hyde Railway Disaster memorial and the Strath Taieri Plain. Once in Dunedin, we’ll freshen up before celebrating our achievement at our final group dinner.

Stay on and explore Dunedin at your leisure (Our Group Manager is a ‘local’ and will be happy to point out all the attractions), extend your holiday in NZ, or depart to airport for flight home.
