A very scenic part of the river, nice bit of history at the beginning .. Success Hill & Fishmarket Reserve, lots to see and so much beauty to be found on this stunning kayaking experience. Beaches, parks and reserves are plenty; and we're sure to find the perfect spot to pull up, chillax and enjoy our yummy morning tea together!
The distance of the Paddle is 8km and should be achievable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness. No prior kayaking experience is required for this particular paddle, its all about getting out on the water and having a go. Of course if you're an experienced paddler looking for a lovely morning out on the water with a group of like-minded women, then you'll love this too!
As there are no public toilets at the start point, you would need to stop at the toilets in Stirling Square prior to arriving. The toilets are on the corner of Meadow street and Stirling Street. However, at the halfway point of the paddle (approx 4km) there is an option to pull up at Sandy Beach and use the public toilets there.
