This beautiful trail ride will take you through gorgeous natural bushland at a relaxed and slow pace allowing you to spot kangaroos, soak up the tranquility and enjoy the surrounds.

Before we begin our ride we will have a safety briefing and short lesson by the very friendly and qualified instructor, so no prior experience is necessary.

All the horses are well trained and will stay together and follow one another when required.  Your horse will be assigned to you based on your own personal ability.

Please note that what we do on the ride will be designed to suit the most inexperienced member of the group.  This means that your ride will be mostly at a quiet walk if the group includes beginners.  If you are an experienced rider and want to be able to trot and canter this ride won't suit you.

Please arrive between 11.30 am - 11.45am for a 12 noon lunch to be served by your Adventurous Women host. Then at 1.00pm you'll have a briefing & get to know your horse time followed by a trail ride which will begin at approximately 1.30pm finishing around 2.30pm.

This is a self drive event and we encourage participants to carpool, if you're interested in carpooling please post on the Adventurous Women WA Facebook Page

A Word On Social Distancing & Hygiene
Our Service Provider is taking things seriously with helmets, saddles & reins being cleaned after each use.
On the trail you will be typically more than a horses length between each other and once we return distance will need to be maintained

Please note before booking

  • Riders must weigh less than 120Kg
  • Riders must be capable of getting onto a horse (You don't have to have ridden before - beginners welcome)
  • Please indicate your height and weight in the Other Questions/Comments box when booking

** Please indicate your riding ability in the Other Questions/Comments box when booking

Another great AW excursion around our beautiful city and banks of the Swan River, well-led by the dynamic duo Jazzy and Sue O. Saw lots of interesting features and enjoyed the company of friendly co-walkers. 19km sounds long but was definitely doable.

We enjoyed an easy hike on Mt Coot-tha's new Spotted Gum 2.4km track on the way down with more of an uphill challenge on the way back up to the Summit. The group of like minded women was really friendly made for a pleasant outing. Chris is a really nice host.
