Join our Adventurous Women Host on a social beach walk from Saunders Street Carpark in North Beach (Near Mettams Pool) to Brighton Beach Scarborough then return. Great way to find out about Adventurous Women and what we do, and meet like-minded women while doing something active, social and fun!
We'll meet everyone beach side of the carpark - Your host will be wearing a bright orange Adventurous Women Cap. Once intro's are done, we'll set off on our walk past Mettams Pool, continuing onto Brighton beach and returning to Mettams, where you may wish to take a dip. We find on our beach walks, some like to swim and others are happy not to too - this is optional.
This walk is approximately 4.2km each way, so a total of 8.4km (give or take) It's a social walk, so you can do as much or as little as you wish including turning around at any time during the walk if you are short on time.
We will be walking along a mix of beach, pathways and grassed areas - so barefoot on the beach, bring walking shoes for pathways & then thongs recommended for after - optional swim & coffee/breakfast.

Great morning on the water. I was a bit apprehensive but the quality equipment, and tuition, made the day seem easy.

Great experience - I realised it isn't my thing but certainly worth giving it a go and it was great to have the opportunity.
Another fantastic outing with AW. So well organised and the Hotshots coaches were very patient and thorough with is all. Lunch was delicious too.
