About the Camping Experience

Relaxed Evenings

A holiday isn't a holiday if there isn't time to relax and reflect on the day's adventures. It's our policy to provide crew members to carry out the campsite duties on camping tours - so there's no need for you to cook or wash dirty pots and pans. All you need do is set up your tent (we provide demonstration on how to do this ... it's very simple) and we encourage you to help each other out, many choosing to put up the tents as a team of 2.

Delicious Food

Our very resourceful camp cook, Mr "AW", will be on board our tour! He will ensure that fresh local produce and ingredients are used when available. You'll be pleasantly surprised at the variety and quality of the meals prepared under what are sometimes difficult conditions. Three meals a day, plus morning tea and snacks are included in the price of your tour (unless otherwise specified). .

If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know when you book, we are happy to adapt our tasty, nutritious meals to suit a variety of dietary needs.

Quality Equipment

Relax in air conditioned comfort in our 4WD vehicle – designed for outback conditions. Our vehicles are comfortable and regularly serviced to ensure their safety and reliability. They are also fitted with long-range high frequency radios and recovery gear, in case of emergency.

On our camping tours all the high-quality equipment you need is provided, including stretcher beds and a mattress to sleep on, double tents (YOU HAVE YOUR OWN TENT ... NO NEED TO SHARE) that you can stand up in and comfortable armchairs. All the eating utensils and crockery you will need, are provided for your convenience. All you need to bring are your personal effects, a pillow and a sleeping bag (or you can hire one from us if you need to).

Travel Arrangements

You will need to arrive in Broome the day prior to departure and fly out of Broome the day after the tour finishes. We will pick you up from your hotel on the first day.

At this time of year the days are typically clear and warm (average max 33°C) and the evenings can be cool.

No Princess Policy

Princess crossed out This tour by it's very nature is not designed for the 5 Star Traveller. It is for the girl who has an 'adventurous spirit' and is looking for a unique and rewarding experience (Once in a Lifetime)! You should be able to adopt a "Go With The Flow" attitude, after-all we are in a foreign country and things don't always go to plan...this will help you chill out and therefore get the best out of your holiday. You will also need to be mobile without assistance - some of the sights require you to be on your feet, navigating steps and uneven surfaces at times. We also have a couple of walks as part of this tour - these walks can be achieved by anyone with a general level of fitness, but again mobility is the key, as with all of our tours.
