Itinerary

Meet with your Adventurous Women host at 9.30am join the convoy to Pemberton, or if you prefer to make your own way, arrive by 2pm at “Wild at Heart” cafe in Pemberton where your Adventurous Women host will meet you. Grab a cuppa/arvo tea, we’ll conduct intro’s, meet with our 4WD Guide and chat about our next move!

After we’ve met one another and had our briefing, it’s time to hit the dirt and explore Warren National Park. We'll be driving in convoy on gravel through the forest and will tackle a river crossing before arriving at our base camp located within the park, late in the afternoon. This is a great little warm up for the following day, which is our Big Day Out!

Once we arrive at camp, find yourself a plot and set up your tent or swag, freshen up, kick back and enjoy a bevvie, or a cuppa. Dinner will be served by your Adventurous Women host a little later and then it’s time to relax, enjoy some social time, marvel at the stars & serenity, or retire to your own space - read a book, listen to music, meditate, do a little yoga - it’s your time!

Meals: Dinner

Accommodation: Unpowered Campground Warren National Park

After a relaxed start to the morning, we’ll be met by our 4WD Guide at camp and set off on our full-day tag-along 4WD adventure tour. This experience is so diverse, as we explore a range of different terrain in our vehicles, from forest to beach and dunes. A great introduction to 4WDriving, testing what you and your vehicle is capable of, exploring a beautiful part of our state and of course …..the thrill of the adventure, all in a safe and supportive environment!

As we drive in convoy, our 4WD Guide will intermittently provide interpretive radio commentary and share more info with us when we make our stops along the way - Roger That!! There are plenty of places we stop to take in those picture postcard views, marvel at some hidden gems, experience the diversity of wildlife & birdlife pristine to the area, explore the Karri forest, learn more about the history of the area from our guide and witness the start of the largest landlocked sand dune system in the Southern Hemisphere, Yeagarup in the D’Entrecasteaux National Park! For those who had the pleasure of testing their skills at Yeagarup Dunes on our last 4WD Tagalong experience, you’re in for a real treat… something to get the blood pumping, as we’re going to be tackling the more technical Callcup Hill/Summertime Track (a bucket list in the world of 4WD enthusiasts). Ground clearance on your vehicle is important for this one and if unsure please ask prior to booking.

We finish out the day on a high, head back to camp to celebrate, reminisce and share our stories of the day. You may choose to freshen off with a dip (or float around on a pool toy) in the river, go for a paddle if you bought your own kayak along, throw in a line if fishing is your thing, or simply rest and relax prior to dinner. Tonight we’ve arranged a simple but plentiful camp dinner that’s sure to hit the spot!

Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Accommodation: Unpowered Campground Warren National Park

Rise and shine, breath in the fresh air! Take a dip in the river, perhaps a stroll in the forest and enjoy breakfast at your leisure - this is your time to chill out and take in the surroundings before heading back to the big smoke! We need to leave the campsite by 11.00am, however if you need to leave earlier you can, there is no need for pumping up tyres as we would've done this the day prior and we can provide clear directions on how to return to the highway. After we've said our goodbyes, you're free to make your way back to Perth, perhaps stopping en route to check out some of the lovely little southwest towns along the way.

UNPOWERED CAMP SITE -  NO DRINKING WATER, NO SHOWERS & LONG DROP TOILETS

BYO - All Camping Gear (crockery, cutlery, kettle or saucepan & little gas burner), Tent, Swag with bedding, or Off Road Camper Trailer, Drinking Water

There is a 'Communal' Gas BBQ and a large undercover area with plenty of bench seating for dining, a sink and food prep area, however it's shared with other campers and is a little walk away from where we're camping so we won't be relying on it for our group - it's best that we come prepared with our own camp chair & provisions.  We can walk over to the sink for washing up, or BYO washing up gear/bowl and do dishes at your own set up.

What To Bring/Wear

- Gear List will be provided prior to assist you with planning

More Information

IMPORTANT:  In the comments field of your booking form, please answer the following:

Have you had any experience driving off-road (have you ever driven on gravel roads?)

Have you ever gone 4WDing (either as driver or passenger?)

What vehicle will you be bringing?

Are you the driver or passenger on this tour and who are you travelling with?

Note: Vehicles with low clearance will not make the circuit, also have a look under the engine and see if there is a belly plate, and is it made of plastic or metal?  A plastic one may fill with sand and tear off).  If unsure if the clearance of your vehicle will be suitable, have a chat to us about it and we'll let you know.  You need to have a 4WD for this particular tag-along adventure, an SUV is not suitable.

Once you've booked, you will receive a copy of our Tag-Along Adventure Tours Terms & Conditions.  We ask you to read & sign this document, return a copy to us and keep a copy yourself so that you understand the nature of tour you're participating in.

No Princess Policy

Princess crossed out

This tour by it's very nature is not designed for the 5 Star Traveller. It is for the girl who has an 'adventurous spirit' and is looking for a unique and rewarding 'experience'.  This is a bush camping experience, there are long drop toilets, but no shower.  You can pay for a shower in Pemberton at the Caravan Park if you wish ($5) or take a dip in the river (no soap allowed)

Adventurous Women 4WD tag-a-long adventures are challenging, self-sufficient experiences and you need to accept that when going off-road, overgrown tracks may be accessed where pin striping of vehicles will occur. Please bear this in mind... as much as we love our paintwork, it's a normal part of the off-road experience in some areas in which we travel.
