Join us on this medium-hard walk as we will travel past Flat Rock Beach and the pretty Magazine Track waterfall before continuing along Magazine track, up and across Natural Bridge to make our way to Bluff Lookout where we will take a break and enjoy the beautiful views of Bantry Bay Middle Harbour including the Historic Explosives Facility on the bay.

Please meet Kathy your host for the day at the end of Killarney Rd Killarney Heights (map: at 8.45 for a 9.00am start

Kathy will be wearing a bright orange AW cap and drives a yellow Mitsubishi so you cant miss her. smiley

  • Distance is 11 kms return and will take approx 5 hours.
  • Total climb is approx 500 metres but only 113 metres above sea level
**Did you know Magazine track got it's name from the storage of merchant explosives from 1915 right up until 1974
