Daisy Hill Conservation Park is located between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, and is part of the Koala Bushland Coordinated Conservation Area (KBCCA) - a forested oasis surrounded by urban development. The area protects an important koala habitat while also being one of South East Queenslandâ€™s most significant recreation hubs.
This easy 9km walk will take you through tall eucalypt forests and cool melaleuca wetlands, home to red-necked wallabies, as well as a large number birds and other wildlife.
Once finished we will stop for a cuppa, cake and a chat before heading home.
Chris will meet you near the entrance the car park prior to the walk. Look for her wearing the bright orange AW shirt and cap
