This is a moderate to challenging hike which will be at a pace that suits everyone attending on the day so times may vary, that said you will enjoy this hike more if you're hike fit.
This popular hike in the Adelaide Hills meanders through the cool sanctuary of Chambers Gully and includes a steep climb to the ridge, where you can enjoy gorgeous views of both the city and coast. Keep an eye out for kangaroos, cockatoos, bandicoots and koalas as you walk.
On our way back will detour to the Basecamp Café (approx 2 kms from the Chambers Gully car park) to enjoy a coffee (& maybe some well deserved cake )
Leonie will be carrying a small first aid kit however please ensure you wear suitable clothing and footwear, and bring sunscreen, a hat, ample water and lunch / snack.
● There is a very good chance we will see Koalas!
● Gorgeous views

Great walk, up and down green hills, across creeks, through paddocks, starting and ending in a beautiful little town.
This was a fabulous city walk. I grew up in Perth all my life and I discovered places and things on this walk that I never knew existed. Jazzy is just amazing, full of knowledge and patience and just a fabulous host. Thank you for an amazing day. And I loved Brads biscuits, which are always a highlight for me.
A very interesting walk discovering history and beauty between the Swan river and the sea.
