What an AWesome year 2022 has been!
We have climbed, walked , paddled, ridden horses, tasted wine & whiskey, and even celebrated Christmas in July 🎄. Now it’s time to celebrate Christmas in December in true AW style.
Onboard our privately chartered catamaran, Moreton Bay will be the backdrop for our festive celebration. Yes that’s right we are swapping our hiking boots for bare feet, gentle breezes, ocean dips, stunning food and the good fortune of your company.
Enjoy the scenery across Moreton Bay to the islands as we set sail on the turquoise waters to Horseshoe Bay, Peel Island. Located in the Moreton Bay Marine Park, Peel Island’s indigenous name Teerk Roo Ra, means "the place of many shells." and has a history that includes being used as a quarantine station in the mid-19th century.
At Peel Island, we have the opportunity to walk, swim, relax, soak up the sun, bathe in the water, float on an aqua mat or even stand-up paddle board.
After all this fun we are welcomed back onboard to enjoy a smorgasbord lunch as we sail back across the bay.
This is the perfect way for the AW QLD cohort to enjoy the wonderful friendships that have been forged over the past 12 months.
