The aim of our Women Only Into to Self Defence Workshop is to instil a ‘survival mindset’ into all of our participants through the use of fun activities and discussions. We explore a variety of self defence topics including how to use your intuition effectively, how to spot a potential ‘predator’, how to develop a survival plan for yourself and your family and what to do if a self defence scenario does turn physical. We also dedicate a few hours of the course to physical techniques that you may find yourself having to use if a situation does turn physical and you end up needing to fight back.
Suitable for participants of all levels of fitness, skill and ages (14 years+).
What to wear: Long or 3/4 leggings/tracksuit pants (without zips where possible), a t-shirt and easily removable footwear (as shoes are worn everywhere except for on the wrestling mats).
What to bring: Some food for lunch (or alternatively the Brickworks Marketplace is conveniently located across the road).
Snacks/coffee/tea/water will be provided during the breaks.
Parking is available behind the building off of Ashwin Parade)
PLEASE NOTE:
- All jewellery/piercings should be removed prior to the start of the physical section (any jewellery that cannot be removed will need to be taped down)
- We will be sitting on the wrestling mats for the theory portion of the course

50% refund if cancelled 15 days plus, prior to commencement of event
No refund if cancelled 14 days or less, prior to the commencement of event
If you cancel at any stage and we find a replacement, you will receive a full refund, otherwise the above cancellation conditions will apply
