Join us for an Exclusive Night Hike & Observatory Tour, beginning with a twilight hike along the scenic trails of Pickering Brook and up to the Perth Observatory. As the sun sets, our adventure continues under the night sky, illuminated by head torches and the glow of the full moon.
We start out at the carpark on the corner of Walnut Rd and Lockwood rd at 5pm.
Following our hike, we'll enjoy a communal dinner at the Observatory from our BYO items. Then for the highlight of the evening, an exclusive, 2-hour guided tour of the Observatory, where a group of knowledgeable volunteers will showcase the marvels of the Southern Hemisphere’s night sky through state-of-the-art telescopes. In addition to celestial viewing, we will explore the historical telescopes, newly redeveloped museum, and artifacts that include the historic Atlas Coelestis. Tailored to suit the unique interests of each group, this tour offers an intimate and immersive experience that promises to be both educational and exhilarating.
Walking back to the cars the short way with head torches, we can expect to be back in our vehicles by 10pm.

This tour by it's very nature is not designed for the 5 Star Traveller. It is for the girl who has an 'adventurous spirit' and is looking for a unique and rewarding 'experience' (Once in a Lifetime)! You should be able to adopt a "Go With The Flow" attitude, after-all we are in a foreign country and things don't always go to plan...this will help you chill out and therefore get the best out of your holiday.
You will also need to be mobile without assistance - some of the sights require you to be on your feet, navigating steps and uneven surfaces at times. We also have a couple of walks as part of this tour - these walks can be achieved by anyone with a general level of fitness, but again mobility is the key, as with all of our tours.
Notice of cancellation must be in writing, with an email as an acceptable form of communication, directly to Adventurous Women with the following conditions:
No refund is available after departure of a tour has commenced.
