Bribie Island - hard to resist!
Don’t waste another glorious day of sunshine, by staying indoors. Come for a relaxing walk on the beach - a world away from the pressures of day-to-day life.
We will leave from Bribie Island Seaside Museum and head past the nature reserve of Buckleys Hole Environmental Park, where over 170 bird species have been recorded, including Pelicans, Black Swans, Egrets, Cormorants, Moorhens & Spoonbills. We will then continue along the beach to Woorim, with its sandy beaches, azure waters, driftwood sculptures, picturesque sea views and the chance to see dolphins frolicking in the water! After a toilet stop and a refreshment at Woorim (own expense), we head back along the shaded inland route back to Bongaree. There are toilet facilities near the Museum and at Woorim.
