2 days of walking, 1 night in lodge accommodation, exploring Wellington National Park, the Ferguson Valley ... and surrounds!

Come hike and enjoy the beauty of the Crooked Brook Forest in the Ferguson Valley and Honeymoon Pool at Wellington National Park on this sweet little fully accommodated getaway.  Admire the majestic Wellington Dam Mural; said the be the biggest dam mural in the world, explore the surrounding swimming holes, check out the town of Collie, enjoy a good ol' fashioned country pub meal, duck in and take a look at the quirky Gnomesville .....and more!

Our overnight stay is in Collie in twin share lodge accommodation (shared bathroom).  The lodge is basic, however it's clean and tidy, has a nice vibe and a fire-pit which we may like to gather around after dinner.  We are walking to a nearby pub for dinner, however if you don't wish to do this, you are welcome to BYO your own meal and cook it in the shared kitchen.

We are unable to accommodate anyone in single rooms due to limited availability - twin share only.  You don't need to book with a friend, we will place your name in a room buddy draw (unless you specifically request to share with someone).  Most of our guests come along solo!

Accommodation: Black Diamond Lodge, Collie

From 7.00am - Breakfast will be made available in the Lodge Kitchen for you to help yourself.

8.30am - Meet with your guide and carpool/convoy to Honeymoon Pool

9.00am - Commence hiking the Kurliiny-tjenagitj trail, a loop walk returning back to Honeymoon Pool (Grade 3) where our guide will set up a lunch making station so we can enjoy a picnic lunch by the water.

2.30pm - After our picnic lunch, we'll call by the Wellington Dam Mural to capture the stunning artistic masterpiece that is said to be the largest dam mural in the world and have a cuppa at the Kiosk (optional) before making our way back home.

**Kurliiny Tjenangitj meaning "come and see" in the Noongar language, is a 9.5 kilometre loop trail that ascends, often steeply, through forest to a lookout offering views over the Collie River valley. From there the trail ascends less steeply along a four wheel drive track, until it meets the Mundi Biddi Track again.
