8.30am - Commence hiking the Kurliiny-tjenagitj trail, a loop walk returning back to Honeymoon Pool (Grade 3) then drive back to camp.

Kurliiny Tjenangitj meaning "come and see" in the Noongar language, is a 9.5 kilometre loop trail that ascends, often steeply, through forest to a lookout offering views over the Collie River valley. From there the trail ascends less steeply along a four wheel drive track, until it meets the Mundi Biddi Track again.

1.00pm - Lunch making station will be set up back at camp, so come together and make your own, pull up a pew and enjoy! (Lunch supplied by AW)

Afternoon at leisure to explore this beautiful area with so many options: Take a swim at Potters Gorge or Honeymoon Pool, hire a mountain bike from The Kiosk, visit Evedon Lakeside Retreat for a Devonshire Tea, drop into one of the nearby wineries or breweries if you’d like to indulge in a tasting, or simply spend the afternoon relaxing around camp.

6.00pm - Sunset Drinks & Nibbles around the campfire (nibbles supplied by AW)

7.00pm - (BYO dinner - BBQ’s available or BYO gas cooker if you prefer to heat up something other than BBQ)

Meals: Lunch

Accommodation: Potters Gorge Campground, Wellington National Park

8.30am - After breakfast, we pack up camp and convoy to Honeymoon Pool. We’ll leave a couple of vehicles here and return to The Kiosk where we’ll park the rest of the vehicles, before commencing our walk back to Honeymoon Pool along the Jabitj Trail.

The Jabitj Trail, meaning running water in the Noongar language, is a delightful trail that follows the Collie River between Wellington Dam and Honeymoon Pool offering views of the rapids and pools along the way - you may even like to go for a refreshing dip!

For those who don’t wish to walk, pack up at your leisure and check out of the campgrounds by 10.00am.

11.00am - or thereabouts, we finish the walk at Honeymoon Pool where we’d left some of the vehicles and drive a short distance back to The Kiosk. Once we’re all back there, it’s time to say our goodbyes and head for home, or grab a cuppa and a bite to eat at The Kiosk before you do so (optional).
