Did you know that Adventurous Women started Australia's very first Travel & Adventure Community way back at the beginning of 2008?

We've always valued community and totally understand how being connected to others can help us to feel as though we're part of something greater than ourselves.

Nothing beats face to face contact, however in today's world a little help from technology seems to provide many of us with a bit of confidence to take that next step and join a group outing.
Back when Facebook was just starting to hit its straps in Australia, we created private FB Groups for local AW communities in various states of Australia. Down the track, these are now an important part of bringing our local communities together to then go out and participate in activities.
