This is a graded walking track to Mt Mitchell, one of two peaks on either side of Cunningham's Gap. It's a well worn track, heading through Rain forest & Eucalyptus Forest, rewarding us with great views of Main Range, the Moogerah Peaks and through to Mt Barney.
The walk is approximately 10kms return, of moderate grade for experienced bushwalkers and should us between 2.5 to 3 hours to complete. We will leave Brisbane at 7.00am by way of car-pooling, which we will assist in coordinating (meeting point to be determined by our AW walk host, Chris prior to commencement). Those car-pooling, it would be appreciated if passengers offer the driver money for fuel. The drive is 1.5 hours west of Brisbane.
Meeting Time: 7.00am
Meeting Place: McDonalds, Blunder Rd Oxley (near Bunnings)
Chris' Phone Number: is 0487 766 008, should you need to make contact.

Thank you Sue & Lyn for a wonderful first time experience. Everyone was kind and welcoming. I will be returning :)
What a lovely weekend. I was only able to complete two days of the walk due to a knee injury, but the two days I walked the scenery was beautiful. Lovely soft leafy ground underfoot. A really pretty area of WA. As usual our AW guides were absolutely wonderful. And the food was fantastic (Brads Jam drop biscuits were perfect). The accomodation was very nice and perfectly situated so that I still had close access to Pemberton town on the days I could not walk.
As always AW did not disappoint! Fabulous walks , Lyn is a great guide, and we made good time through the (undulating !)Karri forrest. Sue gave us great food ( despite having no oven !!😂😂)
The best way to unwind as usual, Thankyou again
Lynne and Sue 👍
A great couple of days on the Kattamorda Heritage Trail. Found the first day trek relatively easy despite the distance and the second day was surprisingly interrupted with lunch at the Mundaring Weir Hotel. Our guide, Imogen, was great very inclusive and nothing was any trouble, thank you Imogen for a great weekend.
Great walk, up and down green hills, across creeks, through paddocks, starting and ending in a beautiful little town.
An great weekend in the Darling Ranges!
This was a fabulous city walk. I grew up in Perth all my life and I discovered places and things on this walk that I never knew existed. Jazzy is just amazing, full of knowledge and patience and just a fabulous host. Thank you for an amazing day. And I loved Brads biscuits, which are always a highlight for me.
