Mt Tibberoowuccum is one of the Glasshouse's most overlooked mountains. Hidden in the shadows of Mt Tibrogargan, the track is hidden from the carpark but easy to follow if you know where to find the trailhead.
It is a steep, sharp climb to the summit with a bit of a scramble here and there, but the views are worth the effort. At the top there are two lookouts, the highest requires a bit of a rock climb. Here you will find Mt Tibrogargan in the foreground with a 360° view of the Glasshouse Mountains, Moreton Bay & Island in the distance. The first lookout offers stunning views to the south.
From the top we begin our descent via a different track, it is a steepish scrabble down to where we join the Trachyte track.
The Trachyte circuit gets its name from the type of rock which forms the volcanic peaks of the Glass House Mountains.
This track is an easy jaunt that heads towards Tibrogargan’s base and crosses several creeks, whilst offering different landscapes, from pine forestry to riparian rainforest, open woodland, and heathland.
Once back at the carpark, Caron & Kat will provide you with some delicious home-baked treats for you to enjoy with your tea and coffee.

GREAT TOUR, there were so many highlights and they were well organised. Well worth the early rises to get to the special places early to enjoy the serenity without too many other tourist.
Excellent from start to finish. I loved it.
What a lovely day out. The weather was just about perfect. Cool (not hot) and no rain.
I have done this walk before and I enjoyed the second time just as much as the first time. Jazzy had so much info about the places we were passing. She definitely puts the effort in to keep us informed about our own “Backyard”…..
Very much enjoyed my first walk with Adventurous Women. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and I'm really looking forward to the next one.
