Fantastic trip. Kat & Caron did an amazing job or organising, guiding, driving etc. Valhalla Perisher was a wonderful lodge, excellent staff, divine food, very comfortable beds, the perfect place to base ourselves in the Snowy Mountains.

Thank you to our guides Jess and Claire for providing us with a safe adventure. They looked out for us and supported us to hike the most beautiful part of the Bibbulmun.
The views, from secluded beaches to pockets of shady bush, were amazing. But it was still a welcome relief each day to return to the comfort of our cozy beach apartment 😊

Loved the whole experience, and was very impressed with our guides Claire and Jess. Their positivity, knowledge of the track, great meals, thoughtfulness and attention to detail made this such a fun time.

So good to kayak with a great group in a beautiful location. Everything was so well organised, from the starting briefing with the kayaks to morning tea in the park. As a beginner, I felt confident and really enjoyed myself. A perfect way to spend the morning.

Another great part of SE Queensland to explore on foot with Kat and Caron. A variety of bush, sand, steps, slight hill walking with fantastic views of the ocean and at Noosa lookout. Enjoyable walk.

A fantastic trip from Albany to Denmark during the wildflower season. The guides & the food were terrific. It is a must do section of the track. You can even get a dip in the ocean at the end of the hike on a couple of the days to ease the muscles.

From the trails of Mt Cootha to shady Ithaca Creek to the bird life at Nudgee Beach, this was a training hike with a difference. A well organised hike with car pooling allowed us to focus on enjoying the good company and scenery. Thanks Chris for another great hike.

My friend and I joined the inaugural great southern walking tour for my 40th. It was INCREDIBLE! Such a variety of walks on the tour, everyday was different. We were totally spoiled with beautiful weather and a fantastic group of ladies to enjoy 8 days with. Guides Jess and Claire are wonderful!!!!! Thanks to them it felt like holiday for us. We got to be kids again with no one to worry about but ourselves, scrambling up rocks, swimming in the ocean, finding a love for orchids (thanks Claire), picnics, creating daily queen costumes and joking around with for our fellow walkers. I must also add, the food was delicious!!! Everything included, brekkie and lunch laid out everyday, home baked treats and tea brought up the slopes, and dinner cooked at night. All this so we could spend a couple of hours doing crosswords or getting in everyone’s way riding scooters. No request was too much for these ladies, highly recommend anyone contemplating it to take the plunge! Thanks so much Adventurous Women Team.

This walk was packed with great scenery, a few hills, a bit of scrambling, a waterfall, a balancing rock even a wishing tree and did I mention great scenery. The downside, the road up and back to O'Reillys is not for the faint hearted but well worth the challenge.

Had an absolutely amazing time hiking the Camino Salvado with a great bunch of supportive women. Everything was so well organised, the food was fantastic and we were so well looked after. This was my very first hike with AW and wow......what an experience. 8 days of walking with 7 other beautiful like-minded women and our Guides, Claire and Squirrel, who were absolutely amazing. Experienced, knowledgeable and supportive.

Well I'm still unpacking this one. It was harder than I expected... heat, flies, march flies, ticks, stones, sore feet, snakes, dead, alive and plastic, long long long tracks, dusty trails and hard road surfaces. Why did I do this.....? But then there were track angels, and cold drinks appearing out of nowhere, and such amazing women, and two perfect guides and scenery, and foot baths and conversations and laughter and cocktails of magnesium and hydralite and berocca, along with anti histamines and pain killers. It was a challenge...but it's not a walk... it's a pilgrimage so I guess it had to be hard... It needs to be respected. It was hard won. And in that beautiful Abbey at the end when we all walked in together to the sound of the bells ringing the Monk told us that a divine Spirit had been responsible for us being there... and that a word or phrase would stay with us from the scriptures he recited. And during that afternoon of our arrival and the next day when we went to mass something strangely transformative weaved it's magic...my feet no longer hurt, my heart felt full and as I drove away the words "Be Kind" resonated with me. I'm not sure what happened on that walk...but it was unlike anything I've ever done, even on the Camino trail in Spain. I don't quite understand it all....but I think we all became Pilgrims over the course of those 180 plus kms. It was kind of perfect... it will definitely stay with me for a long time... and I can't believe I'm going to tell people to do it.....but I actually am. Buen Camino... and remember to 'be kind.' That's what I got from doing this walk... I wonder what you'll find?
