MAKE A BOOKING

A fishing trip - regardless of the number of catches, if any - involves nature, water, quiet and a general lack of stress.

Predominantly a male sport, we're finding that many more women are enjoying the physical and psychological benefits of fishing.  Adventurous Women have teamed up with Perth Fishing Safaris and are now providing fisherwomen the opportunity to enjoy this activity along with other like-minded women in a safe and supportive environment.

We've seen Perth Fishing Safaris in action and know they will put you on the money during an outdoors adventure you won't forget. While we can't guarantee the fish will be biting on the day, if they are ........ we'll catch them.

Departing Hillarys at 2pm we head north of Perth (at the very least an hour from Hillary's if not more, depending upon conditions) in search of prime beach gutters likely to hold fish. Once we've hooked into a location, we'll let the pressure out of the tyres and hit the beach for an adventure!!

We'll spend the afternoon targeting tailor and at sunset the big baits go out and things get serious. This is the time when larger predators like mulloway, snapper and sharks emerge on the beaches to hunt prey. Our goal is to connect you to one of these monsters!

Catch and release, or keep your catch - the choice is yours on the night, however you will be guided by the guys as to whether or not the fish MUST be released!

In addition to the great fishing, you will learn valuable fishing skills to take with you for the rest of your life. All transport, fishing gear, water and 2 x beers pp included.... just need to bring your dinner.

A fishing trip is most definitely attuned to the woman who has an 'adventurous spirit' and is looking for a unique and rewarding 'experience'.

The fishing safari does take you out of your comfort zone!!  You need to be able to go with the flow, there are no toilets on or near the beaches where we go (except a toilet stop along the way) so into the dunes if you need to go to the loo.  The fishing can be quite physical as we use big beach rods, although the guys will cast for you if required and are always there to lend a hand should you land yourself a 'monster'. The safari duration is long - it's 10 hours from the time you jump on board at Hillary's until you get back again as it finishes around mid-night.

An educational and enjoyable experience. The guides were knowledgeable about the history of the area and some of the indigenous culture and were more than willing to answer any questions. I particularity enjoyed sampling some of the bush tucker, and that local products were used where possible. Lots of fresh foods offered which made delicious camping food.😊😊

The Highlights of The Bibbulmun Track (Ex Perth) WA

Sue was always at hand when we needed her, and the meals were great. Jazz looked after us all day, and I think I got extra attention because I was old, although I think she will agree that I managed OK. And Leonie was just an extra bonus, especially with her i-phone tips.
