MAKE A BOOKING

Join experienced pack hiker Chris in the Moggill Hills for a session designed to help get you ready to tackle more difficult terrain and or/longer more difficult hikes.

Devils Break Loop has fabulous hills and city views in places as well as some steep gravelly sections to challenge your skills - bring your poles.

We will find lots of wildlife such as birds, lace monitors etc. and the track is certainly challenging in some sections but is nice and wide.

This session will include :

  • Uneven surface walking
  • Pack and pole training and advise as required
  • Help learning to use new hiking equipment
  • Training for multi day full pack hikes or day hikes

This grading is 3 (Moderate) but please note there is some uneven ground, and steep gravel slopes..

If bringing a pack please ensure it has a supportive waist band and we recommend no more than 10kgs of weight for beginners.

ideatip: bottles of water are a great weight as they're easy to measure 1L =1Kg and if you're finding it too heavy can be tipped out to reduce your weight

Please note:
There isn't a toilet at our meeting point

Please have breakfast prior to your walk
