It's an engaging and very enjoyable recreational activity undertaken by people of all different age groups and fitness levels, sometimes solo and other times enjoying the experience within groups.
We’ve chosen the New Farm Course as it's a great way to explore this historic area, with the hunt for checkpoints taking you around stunning gardens, riverfront walkways and the narrow streets that New Farm is renowned for.
If you’re keen to give orienteering a go or haven't tried your hand at it since back in high school let our AW Guide Chris teach you the basic skills and techniques to enable you to navigate using a map and compass as well as pass along some general pointers to help keep you on track.
Parking is available either on Brunswick St or in the park itself and we will head to a nearby cafe afterwards so please ensure you bring along card or cash if you would like to join us
