What a fantastic way to wrap up your weekend and if you're new to all this, take the plunge and join us ... you'll meet a new group of ladies to hang out with!
Our Adventurous Women ® â„¢ host will be there to greet you all as you arrive and introduce you to other ladies who have come along - She'll be wearing a bright orange Adventurous Women ® â„¢ Peak Cap and standing next to Walters River Cafe/Restaurant.
We've set the start time at 5.30pm to provide you with enough time to eat an early picnic dinner while sitting on the banks of the river, before we set of on the Stand up Paddle Boards at 6.00 pm if you wish. Of course you may choose to come earlier, or even eat dinner afterwards if you've had a snack to keep you going ... totally up to you!
To keep things simple, as we're heading out at a time when some wish to eat and others don't, dinner will not be provided by us for this event. It's BYO Picnic/Snacks & Drinks
If you're worried about joining this tour as you've never SUP'd before, Point Walter is the best location for taking your very first attempt at Stand up Paddle Boarding in Perth. Sheltered from the wind coming from either direction, we have perfect flat glassy water, its a lot easier starting with a stable platform so flat water is a must. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY. A short lesson on how to use the SUP will be provided before heading out with our instructor and if you find it difficult to stay on your feet, you can always kneel or sit and paddle along enjoying the beauty of the sunset and having fun!
There are plenty of sheltered picnic areas, showers/toilets and free barbecues if you're bringing your picnic dinner.

Customers are to notify Adventurous Women via phone or email greater than 7 days prior to this event if they wish to cancel without incurring a cancellation fee.
If the customer cancels 7 days or less prior to commencement of the event, unless a replacement can be found to take your place - No refund will be provided.
No shows and late arrivals - No refund will be provided.
In the event of the event being cancelled by our SUP supplier due to bad weather or other factors, the customer may re-book at a later date with the supplier, or have their payment extended for a year from the booking date (refunds are not possible). Bad weather is considered as strong wind conditions, thunderstorms, or squalls. The event will not be cancelled due to rainy conditions unless it is deemed unsafe to commence.
